January 7 and January 15 race dates will be warm up events and are NOT  part of the Summit ET Points Series.
Update... The MLK Holiday event  of  Monday,January  15 IS A NON POINTS RACE because of the large number of people who do not have that day off.
Only your best 5 finishes will be counted and accredited to your point totals

Listed below are the events that are the official dates where points can be earned. Keep in mind that in order to be credited with points, you must sign up in the tower before the 1st round of eliminations starts. Points are not retroactive and will only begin on the day of signing.

PLEASE DO NOT START ANY ENGINES BEFORE 8 AM!
Track Radio Broadcasting Frequency is 87.9 FM

Gates open   7 AM 
Time Runs:    8:15
Eliminations: 12:30
(Note: Starting times are approximate based on current weather and track conditions)

Sunday, January 28

Monday, February  19 

Saturday, April 7

Monday, May 28 (Memorial Day)

Sunday, June 17

Wednesday, July 4 (Independence Day)

Sunday,  July 22

Monday, September 3 ( Labor Day & Final Summit ET Points Race)

cool, so MLK Jr day is NOT a points race....good call Georgia!

Feb 19th, a Monday holiday...President's day....points race....no problem.


Thanks for posting this Jim...it is so nice to be able to plan 11 months ahead of time.

Just got off of the phone with Vicki who is Georgia's assistant. The MLK holiday event is a NON POINTS race as many who are participating in the series do not have that day off from work so you are safe. I have made the correction on the schedule which can be found in my earlier posting.

Also found out that Georgia will not be there on Sunday, had a accident while walking her Lab Omega and will require a few days rest before returning to work.

Just like last year, the Summit ET Series points races consist of a total of 8 events. Only your best 5 finishes will count towards your totals.
